Rekeying Your Locks

When you move into a new house or apartment, you don't know who has copies of the old keys. Rekeying solves this by changing the pins inside the lock so every old key becomes useless. The lock stays on the door — we just change what's inside it and give you new keys that work with your lock.

Rekeying also helps if a key was lost or stolen, or if you're a landlord between tenants. We can rekey one lock or several, and we can make them all work with the same key (keyed alike) so you only carry one. This is simpler and cheaper than replacing the entire lock.

Bring an ID with your address so we can confirm the property is yours before we start. Once the job is done, the old keys won't open anything, and you'll have new keys that only you have.
